Banter AI is an interactive prototype built by the Wunderman Thompson Global Creative Data Group. It's designed to help illustrate AI's potential in assistive applications like everyday conversations.
For this prototype we're leveraging Speechly's speech recognition technology which allows us to capture an ongoing conversation. At a user's request the most recent conversation data is then passed to Open AI's Chat GPT API which provides our topical insights.
AI can sometimes act unpredictably with hallucinations and by making up false statements. So, while Banter AI doesn't always work perfectly, we hope it successfully demonstrates how AI could be effectively integrated into our lives in the not-to-distant future.
